Rehoboth state from 1870 until 1990.
The borders of the state of Rehoboth were not exact and changed over time.
In 1885, the connection to the sea was lost due to an understanding with the German Empire. During the following decades more land was lost until under South African rule, Rehoboths' borders were exactly described at 14.216 km2, until Namibian independence in 1990.
